NZ Floats offers horse floats for lease and hire at unbeatable prices. We have the largest selection and collection of floats in the country, so make sure you get in touch with us if you are wanting a short or long term lease or a day hire.
A $500.00 refundable bond is all that is required to lease a float. We cover insurance and maintenance costs, WOF and Registration.
We stock many locally made brands and some imported.
Our floats are well maintained, they are all braked, with mats and pads.
Day hires from $60.00 half day (up to 5 hours), $80.00 full day (depending on availability) - no bond required and no forms to complete

Lease Floats
As if the cost of horse ownership and equipment isn't enough, why fork out another $20,000.00 on a float, only to have it sitting there devaluing. By leasing a float, you can free up your time as well as your capital and let someone else carry the burden of ownership (and believe me, some brands require a lot of work and money to keep them on the road). No more worrying if it will pass a WOF, paying for brake repairs, rust removal or even new light bulbs. Let us take care of all of that. At the end of the season simply return it and then you don't even have to worry about storage. Perhaps you are reluctant to buy a float because you are not sure when your daughter will discover boys? Whatever your reason, we can tailor a package to suit your needs. Payments can be weekly, fortnightly or whateveryou prefer.
We have made the lease process simple, email your interest to info@nzfloats.co.nz and we will forward a contract for your perusal. We will cover insurance, warrant of fitness, registration and maintenance - it doesnt get any easier than that!
LEASE-SHARE: We have several clients now sharing a lease. making the lease option even more cost effective! If you would like to share a lease, please enquire, the only additional charges will be a 25% increase in the lease price to include additional insurance requirements and both leasee's will need to be listed on the contract.
COMMERCIAL USE: Please enquire about our commercial use option, as different rates apply. There will also be a $1000 bond required. This is designed to cater for the horse racing fraternity and breeders.

Hire Floats
NZ Floats have the largest selection of horse floats in the country for hire. With some companies charging up to $120.00 per day for " in your face" sign written, poorly maintained floats, often with no brakes or even bum bars. Dont risk carrying your precious cargo in them when you can have one of our quality floats for much less. We are horsey people, so know what is required as far as safety goes. We have the best maintained floats in the country.
No bond required and no forms to be completed. Just a photo of your license.
Have an early start? No problem to pick up the evening before. We also offer after hours pick up or drop off by arrangement.
Unable to clean out the float after using it? We offer a float cleaning service if you are unable to - ($30)
